Refunds and chargebacks

The streamer is the merchant. The platform fee is not refunded.

1. 1Streamer decides refunds

   A donation is paid to the streamer’s Stripe account. The streamer decides refunds.

2. 2Chargebacks stay on Stripe

   Chargebacks, disputes, and Stripe’s dispute fees sit on that same Stripe account.

3. 3Fee is not refunded

   The platform fee that was taken on the donation is not refunded when the streamer refunds a donor.

4. 4Donor contacts the streamer

   A donor who wants money back contacts the streamer, not the platform.
