Switch from TippyBear (or another tip service)

Set up StreamDono next to your old service, move your links, and bring your history in from a CSV.

1. 1Set up StreamDono first

   Create your account, connect Stripe under Payments, and check that your tip page opens. Keep your old tip link live until the new one works.

2. 2Move your alerts

   Add the alert, goal and other browser sources from For OBS in OBS. If your old service is connected to Streamlabs or StreamElements, remove that connection there, or you may get alerts from both.

3. 3Change your links

   Replace the old tip link in your Twitch panels, bio, chat command and overlays with your StreamDono link. The Share page has the button, goal bar and a QR code.

4. 4Collect what is left at the old service

   Balances at your old service stay with that service until you pay them out. TippyBear’s terms say the balance sits with their payment partner Stripe and can be paid out in Stripe’s own interface or through TippyBear. Check your old service’s own terms before you close anything there.

5. 5Bring your history in (optional)

   Under Tips, Export, Import earlier tips, upload a CSV with at least an amount and a date column (name, message and currency are optional). We could not find a documented export at TippyBear, so ask their support whether they can give you one, or build the file from your own records. Imported tips show in your history only: no alerts, no fee, and they do not count in earnings, goals or the fee tier. You can delete them again at any time.
